Rising damp is an accumulation of water and humidity under the sub surface and barricades of structures. It can be a common challenge with old houses that are built with brick or sandstone foundations. These substructures can operate as a scrounger to the humidness in the land, soaking up water into walls and resulting in the ugly effects of rising damp.

Most houses that do not have damp course fixed (a plastic lining) have a higher risk of Rising Damp. Sloppy workmanship amid the induction of lump of concrete and inadequate sewerage on elevated land slopes can also create deep challenges for home and prime contractors. Out of date or failed waterproofing pipes can also be the villain when looking for the disadvantaged areas.
